What's new
Draft a 10-Pokémon rotation. Survive 82 games. Here is what has changed, newest first.
Run It Back
Latest- Run it back. After any finished 82–0, Daily or Kanto 151 season, one tap turns that team into Season 1 of a dynasty and spins the first offseason roll. No re-draft: the season you just watched counts.
- Three save files. Like the old cartridges: File 1 is the Dynasty you draft from scratch, File 2 is an 82–0 or Daily squad you ran back, File 3 is a Kanto 151 squad you ran back. All three live side by side on the Home card; the Dynasty tab continues the one that is in progress.
- Kanto dynasties stay Kanto. Every offseason roll draws from the original 151 and every rival stays in the Kanto League for all ten seasons.
- Daily streak rerolls. Day 3 of a Daily streak adds a bonus reroll to the Daily, Day 7 adds a second (the cap). A streak reroll works as a region reroll, a type reroll, or a Scout's Surprise skip, and the Daily card, the draft header and the recap all tell you what tomorrow unlocks.
- Regular season report card. In single-season runs the 82 games now get a letter grade (A+ Juggernaut down to F Tank job, with your record and seed) after the standings, and the playoffs wait until you tap through.
- Bigger stars in the offseason, simpler ladder. The draft still caps ★ Legendaries at three; offseason rolls can take a dynasty roster to five. Scout's Trio and Scout's Battle are gone: every offseason is up to three regular Region + Type rolls, one at a time, and every roll still has to replace someone, so a thin pool can cost you.
- Second stints. Cut Pokémon are back in the pool from the next offseason on. Returning players are tagged in the roll, and the ten-year report lists everyone who came back.
- The Kanto League. Kanto 151 rivals are now all drafted from the original 151: the eight Kanto Gyms, the Elite Four, Champion Blue, Team Rocket and Professor Oak's lab team. Eight rerolls instead of five.
- Reveal at 2× speed. A toggle in the season reveal halves the 82-game and playoff-series pacing, remembered on this device.
Arena Music
- "Tip-Off at Indigo Arena." An original chiptune theme written for the game, played by four Game Boy-style voices (two pulse waves, a wave-channel bass and a noise channel for drums) that are synthesized live in your browser. No audio files, nothing to download.
- Music toggle in the top bar (and under the court). Tap Music: on / off in the top header on phones or desktop. Browsers only allow sound after a tap, so the theme starts on your first tap of the page and the toggle remembers your choice on this device. It pauses while the tab is in the background.
- Yesterday's Daily & Home Screen. Missed yesterday's Daily (or want a second shared-seed challenge after finishing today's)? Replay yesterday's seed right from Home, and add PokéHoops to your home screen for one-tap Daily runs.
Dynasty Mode
- Keep your ten for ten seasons. Dynasty starts with a normal 82–0 draft, then your roster carries over. Win banners, stack up wins, and see it all in a ten-year report.
- The offseason ladder. Every offseason opens with one Region + Type roll. After each swap you can climb one more rung: Scout's Trio (three Pokémon, pick one), then Scout's Battle (two face off, keep one). Every roll has to replace someone on the roster.
- Informed cuts. Tap a rolled Pokémon, press Add to roster, then pick who it replaces from a list that shows every roster spot, how the newcomer grades there and the projected rating swing. The cut is confirmed before it is final, and every rating is visible in the offseason.
- The Dynasty Report. Titles and combined record, a season-by-season timeline, the franchise players and the busts of the whole run, best and worst front-office moves, the one that got away, your most-faced playoff rival, and a shareable dynasty card.
- Picks up where you left off. Saved after every step. The Home card and the Dynasty tab continue it; the old Best Runs button now lives on Home.
Scout's Orders
- Roll-type buttons removed. The Region + Type / Single Pokémon toggle is gone. Switching it handed out free rerolls and could leave a Daily stuck on single-Pokémon rolls after a Scout's Surprise.
- Skip a Scout's Surprise. When the scout shows up with one Pokémon, take it or spend either of your rerolls (region or type) to skip it and roll a regular Region + Type pool for that pick.
- Meet the scout. A pixel scout now steps in whenever a Scout's Surprise pops up.
Today's Trainers
- How you stack up. After a run you now see how you ranked against everyone who played the same seed, the share of trainers who made the playoffs, and the share who won the title.
- Lineup rarity. Every finished rotation gets a rarity score (lower = rarer) along with your single rarest pick.
- New share message. Shares now lead with your season record, the seed, and your playoff run. The 82-square grid is gone.
- Generations League for Kanto 151. Every rival club is built from a single generation (Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, Paldea) the same way you draft, so the league is a fair fight.
- Scout's Surprise in the Daily. The Daily now mixes in single-Pokémon rolls alongside the regular pools.
- Launch polish. Home-screen icon, social preview image, a Report a problem link, and this changelog.
Indigo League
- 16-team Indigo League with gym-badge logos and full league standings.
- Top-8 playoff bracket and an interactive Play Series with a game-by-game reveal.
- All-time playoff rivalries tracked across your runs.
- Best Fit, Worst Fit, and Finals MVP art on the results screen.
- Foul-trouble team trait added to the season sim.
- Bigger Pokémon art on mobile.
Opening Night
- Daily mode with streaks: one shared seed per day for everyone.
- Kanto 151 mode.
- Animated 82-game season reveal.
- Share cards and Beat-My-Score links so friends can play your exact seed.
- Mobile layout.
Report a problem
Use the Report a problem link in the game footer or on the results screen. Include your seed (it is shown on the results screen and in every share message) so the exact run can be replayed.
